Murder of Crows Weightlifting Club is proud to be hosting their Fifth Annual USAW Sanctioned Weightlifting Competition the Crow Hill Open 2019. Like last year we will be offering $500 for the Best Male and Female Lifter by Robi Points AND be awarding a trophy for Best Team! We will also be offering $200 for the Second Best Lifter by Robi and $100 for Third Best Lifter by Robi.
The competition will take place over two days June 8th and June 9th, 2019 at Crow Hill CrossFit and Murder of Crows Barbell, 1010 Dean Street, Brooklyn NY 11238.

Athletes must be current USAW members (as of day they are lifting) and must compete in a singlet.
The top 15 male and female lifters, based on their declared Entry Total, will be grouped in a special Prime Time group. Entry totals MUST BE equal to or less then a confirmed meet in the past year in the weight class they are registering as, and will be used to calculate the athlete's Robi points. Lifters must open according to the 20kg/20kg rule in that group. Up to $500 in prize money will be awarded to the Best Male and Best Female Lifter. Lifters must lift in the Prime Time group to be eligible for prize money. Athletes selected in the Prime Time group will not be eligible for weight class medals.
Medals will be awarded to First, Second and Third best totals in each open weight class for both men and women, but will not include the athletes competing in the Prime Time group. A trophy will be awarded to the Top Male and Female Master's Lifters recognized by the Sinclair coefficient and Meltzer-Faber coefficient.
A Best Team Trophy will be Awarded for the best mixed-gender team of five athletes. Athletes must be registered with a Sanctioned Club to be eligible. The top four finishers' points will be combined to create the team total. Points will be awarded according the USAW Addendum to the Technical Rules with 1st Place garnering 6 points, 2nd Place receives 4 points, 3rd place receives 3 points, 4th place receives 2 points, and 5th place receives 1 point. Teams must be registered 48 hours before competition.
Best Team will be awarded the end of the day on Sunday.
Entry fee will be $80 for early entries and $100 for day of entries.
Entry fee includes Competition T-Shirt made by No Matter What Apparel for those who register before May 5.

SESSION 5: Men (81/89)
SESSION 6: Women (76/81/87/87+)
SESSION 7: Men (96/102/109/109+)
SESSION 8: PRIME TIME: Women (Top 15 Based on Robi)
REFUND POLICY: Athletes may receive a 50% refund up to May 5. There are no transfers of registrations.. NO REFUNDS OF REGISTRATION AFTER MAY 5h.
ATHLETES MUST PRESENT A COPY OF THEIR CURRENT USAW CARD AT THE COMPETITION.
Spectator tickets can be purchased for $5 in cash at the event. Athletes may have up to two coaches and will have free access both days for themselves and their coaches. Athletes may only have their two coaches in the warm up room, and will only be allowed entry to the warm up room 30 minutes before their session starts.
