2017 USA Powerlifting Murder of Crows Open | 2-19-2017

Murder of Crows Barbell Club is proud to host their first USA Powerlifting meet on Sunday, February 19th, 2017. Please review the information below before submitting your application!

$80 per athlete. $5 for spectators (full-day pass). Coach / handler gets in for free (maximum of 1 per athlete). We will be selling a meet t-shirt for $20 (pre-order only- purchasing t-shirts day-of without a pre-order is not guaranteed).

About the Competition:

This will be a raw-only meet (for raw competition standards, please refer to the USAPL guidelines here). Each participant will go through the squat, bench, and deadlift (no bench-only, push/pull options available).

Each participant will go into the Open category. No Master or Junior-specific divisions. Medals will be given to the top three lifters in each weight class.

Competition will be limited to 50 lifters maximum. If we sell out, please email "" to be placed on a wait-list. All 50 athletes will compete on Sunday, 2/19/17.

Technical guidelines can be found here, and are encouraged to be reviewed prior to competition. Approved equipment standards (such as belts, wrist-wraps, shoes, and attire) can be found here.

Please note: as this is a USAPL competition sanctioned by USA Powerlifting, there will be drug-testing at this meet.

Please make sure you bring your current USAPL Membership Card and ID with you to this meet. We will NOT be selling USAPL memberships, so please make sure they are current / renewed prior to attending this competition.

Prospective Schedule (subject to change):

All female weight classes:

weigh in is at 7AM, competition starts at 9AM

All female competitors to lift from 9AM to 12PM, awards / drug testing from 12:30-1PM

All male weight classes:

Weigh in is at 12PM, competition starts at 2PM

All male competitors to lift from 2PM to 5PM, awards / drug testing from 5:30PM to 6PM
