Our Crown Heights facility is the largest dedicated barbell training facility in New York City. We offer onsite coaching and personalized programming in the sports of weightlifting & powerlifting as well as classes for strength and conditioning.
Athletes can get started by checking out our FREE INTRO sessions with a certified coach on the weekends. For those looking to get started in powerlifting, we offer a free introductory class at 11am on Saturdays where we spend an hour discussing membership options, how to get started and basic technique for the deadlift. 11am on Sundays we offer our free introductory to weightlifting, and explain our membership options, and basic technique regarding the snatch.
For those new to weightlifting and powerlifting we offer our PRIVATE ORIENTATION PACKAGES. Athletes may either choose to do our Stand Alone Orientation Package or our Club Training Orientation Package. Both options include three private training sessions to teach the basics of weightlifting (snatch, clean and jerk) or powerlifting (squat, bench press, and deadlift). The Club Training Package also includes three weeks of personalized programming and unlimited access to our facility and coaches for training. The Club Training Package will renew as a Club Membership, but may be canceled by emailing us 48 hours before renewal. We just ask that with this, and any Private Training package, that you email us 24 hours to cancel an appointment or you will be assessed a $50 rescheduling fee. The heart of our gym is our CLUB MEMBERSHIPS. Our club memberships include personalized programming, unlimited open gym access, and competition handling. Not only will you receive personalized attention from your coach, but you will be part of a community of lifters who push each other to get stronger and better in their sport. This is our most popular membership option. If you do not have weightlifting or powerlifting experience we recommend you sign up for our private orientation package first.
For those looking to only use our facilities on an unlimited basis, we do offer our OPEN GYM MEMBERSHIPS. This monthly membership allows for unlimited access to our facility, and is perfect for those who may be working with another coach or who is following their own program.
Both of our monthly memberships are prorated and renew on the 1st of the Month with automatic payments. Athletes may cancel or modify their memberships by emailing us at email@example.com at least 48 hours before that renewal.
For those who are early risers, we offer our 6 WEEK WEIGHTLIFTING CYCLE CLASSES. These classes are offered as a series of 12 classes every 6 weeks. They are offered on Tuesday and Thursdays at 6am. If you are a morning person, this might be the best option for you to get started with the sport! The classes are one hour long and will take you from learning the basics of the snatch and the clean & jerk to a more complete understanding of how to execute these lifts. This is a great option for those looking to get started, but also those who use these lifts in CrossFit, but want a better understanding of how to do them the right way.
We are proud to offer Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist led classes for those looking to improve their STRENGTH & CONDITIONING (S&C), but only have an hour to do it. Each class features a barbell strength-building exercise, speed & explosiveness drills, and high-intensity conditioning workouts that will jump start your morning. Classes are carefully designed and programmed to get you stronger, more explosive, and more athletic. The best part? You can start right away - no prior experience necessary. Classes are small and are meant to challenge both the novice and veteran athlete alike.
S&C CLASSES are offered three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6am. The classes are one hour long and perfect for those looking to improve their overall strength and fitness levels. This is a perfect compliment to any sport specific training an athlete might be doing.
We also offer 10 CLASS PUNCH CARD and DAY PASSES for those looking to enjoy our facility.
We are proud to offer REMOTE COACHING with our excellent coaches in the sports of Powerlifting or Weightlifting. We will set you up with the coach that fits your goals in the sport. The coach will write you personalized programming, and weekly feedback on your lifting. You and your coach are a team in your strength journey.
The first Sunday of every month (unless we have an Event that day), we open our gym to the Community for athletes to come and enjoy our facility. COMMUNITY OPEN GYM is offered the first Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. We will post the upcoming Community Gym in our events, but you can always email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm.
