I'm still (very slowly) transitioning back to real life after such an amazing past few days in New Jersey. While I'm coming back down to earth, here's a quick recap of the meet:

Six members of the Murder of Crows Powerlifting Team competed in the 2016 USAPL NJ State Powerlifting Championships this past weekend. That's double the amount of competitors for our first meet as a team just this past Spring!

Five of six teammates were competing for the very first time, half of the team medaled, and multiple all-time PR's were hit for several teammates. Overall, the team averaged 7.5 successful lifts of the 9 total attempts in contest!

Needless to say, I couldn't be more proud about how these folks performed. Rebecca, Genesis, Yisroel, Harris, Mike, and Phil all had an outstanding day in their respective weight classes / divisions. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication throughout this training cycle, and I'm so pumped to see what each and every one of you hit at your next meet! These guys and gals will have a nice week of rest and relaxation... there will be off-season hypertrophy / GPP work waiting for them when they return 😈.
